“…either write things worth reading, or do things worth the writing.” – Benjamin Franklin
“Why not both?” – Subpar John
Tired of all the “almost” success stories in golf, I decided to write my own. I’ll track my progress and share insights along the way, as I try to take my subpar golf game to a qualifying tournament for the 2020 U.S. Open.
Here you’ll find weekly status updates and monthly articles from the perspective of an amateur willing to try anything to improve.
Although this blog is for me, I hope you get something out of it, too. Maybe it’ll help you build your own experiments or help you to think differently about measuring success. If nothing else, I hope you have fun with me! This blog won’t always be serious, but it will always be sincere.
So the only question left is: can I go from subpar to sub-par in three years?
Let the countdown begin!
